Here is a recap of my week. Saturday is my husbands birthday and we are headed outta town on Friday, you guys have a great weekend and check back in for pictures of our celebration weekend, we are going some place FABULOUS!!!
Did you guys get an opportunity to watch Mr Jackson's service today. I just finished watching as I had to work today and had meeting, after meeting with no time to slip away to watch from my computer. I have to say it was a beautiful service, truly a celebration of his life. There were so many great moments during the service I won't even try to pick favorites, suffice it to say the collective tribute was definitely one The King of Pop would have been proud of. My heart goes out to his family. Rest in Peace Michael Jackson!
So,with that... on to what I wore today. I am so excited about sharing this dress with you all. This is one of two dress that I ordered from AprilMarin.com. This site is really cool, basically April Bukofser and Marin Milio have a few design choices of some very classic pieces that they will custom make for you. You have to get pretty specific measurements of yourself send them in and they will make whatever pieces you select. These dresses are very well made from quality fabric, and for custom made clothing the price point is very moderate. The dress that I wore today is called the Capri Dress. I also got the Audrey Dress in this very pretty yellow color (stay tuned I'll be wearing it soon). This dress fits me perfectly. I simply wore the dress to work, but if I am gonna step out I would add a belt and some bolder accessories. This is a fantastic concept in my opinion. Today was a long hard day. You know one of those days you wonder what's it all for. Well, well, well - I'm gonna continue to put one foot in front of the other and keep it moving. You know me, living for the weekend.
My parents celebrated over 30 years of marriage June 30th. Now that's what I call "Black Love" What you think?
